This is one of those left-over places so common in Scotland, where they are still enamored of themselves and expect their patrons to be a certain class of people. As I was not dressed like a landowner or local, it was a strange reception and I actually preferred being out in the street to sitting in the bar. All I have as the memory is an impression of the colour yellow and unfriendliness. I was going to eat there, but I just couldn’t stand it, although my friends thought it quite good.
