This is a lovely place for day out/​stay over as 4* accomadation available. It consists of restaurant, shop (where hand made products can be bought) & workshop. There is a large car park so no probs parking (a lovely short walk can be taken in the woodlands surrounding the carpark).For those staying over there’s a gazebo in the west courtyard & for others in the east there’s al fresco dining (weather permiting)
They cater for people with dietery needs but best to give notice when booking about this, they cater for larger groups etc (i.e parties)
The food is English based country cuisine & evenings Al a Carte. There is a choice from 10 starters & 12 main courses so plenty to choice from. The bar is licensed for those wanting an alcoholic drink with their meal. They are open 7 days a week for morning coffee, lunches & teas. Open 4 evenings a week (wed to sat).Shop open 7 days too & baby changing facilities available

Very attractive restaurant set in a courtyard which also contains a gift shop. We visited the restaurant to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and had a lovely meal there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. We enjoyed a pre-​dinner drink and after-​dinner coffee in the conservatory which is very pleasant. Well worth a visit.
