This place is truly one-of-a-kind. You literally get to sit and have lunch adjacent to an active airfield. It’s exactly as cool as it sounds. With all the vintage biplanes and classy pilots, at times it feels like a throwback from another age, like something from the Rocketeer. The food is good, but it’s your usual British pub fare. The sandwich baguettes have a bit too much butter for my taste, but that’s nuance at an establishment that is all about the ambiance. They could serve nothing but orange juice and crackers and it’d still be worth a visit.
