Quintessence

Quintessence is one of those wonderful little tea rooms that would be so easy to walk by as you stare at the Divizes town castle right across the street. But you would be missing one of the very best places to stop for a cup of tea and a scone in all Wiltshire! The owner is a delightful man who patiently guides the tourist through the proper way to drink your tea while waiting on all his local customers. The jam is also exceptional as is the clotted cream. The owner will explain how he purchases his goods from only the best local producers. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Of all the places we ate on our 2 week vacation in England, this is the only eatery we returned to a second time. I wish I could go again!
