Friendly staff. Excellent food what more could you ask for? I had lamb shashlik Tara Dahl rice and chapatis and enjoyed Every bite. Oh and yes it’s cheap too.

A brilliant resturant with wonderful food. We’ve never had anything less than great food at good prices for the last 20 year+. And if you go on a Wednesday or Thursday you can get a three course meal for £10 — that poppadoms and chutneys, rice or nan, a main and a side all for £10. Definately a 5 star venue for what it aims to do — good value, good flavours, non nonsense eating. If you want candles, flock wallpaper and lots of faux Indian atmosphere, go somewhere else.

Cheerful curry house serving the full range of favourite Indian dishes. I’d say that this place relies mostly on take-away trade, but the restaurant is pleasant enough with bright pink interior. Good sized portions and freshly cooked, although our curries tended to be a bit on the bland side — could have done with a bit more spice. Also tried garlic rice which was pretty to look at but no garlic taste at all. But prices are very reasonable(£27 for poppadoms, two main meals with rice and bread, veg side dish and two beers). Not bad at all!
