We’ve always had a good time here service always good and food is always spot on we’ve been as a couple, with friends and now as a family my 2 year old is kept occupied with his free balloon and colouring book! Maybe not the place to go for that very special occasion but it always has a good vibe about it

We would never go back to Franky & Bennys near the Derby Royal Hospital ever again! It started on our first visit. We were given a not so happy waitress who didnt seem really bothered with us. Following this our food was awful. Our food was not nice at all, most was cold and did not taste nice at all — not enjoyable at all. We did mention this and have it recitifed which was fine. Following this we had the most rude experience we have ever had at a restaurant! Towards the end of the night we were sat with drinks after our meal, at this point the music in the entire restaurant was turned off abruptly, we asked the waitress what time they shut to which the manager shouted from across the restaurant floor 9.30 We found this very rude and left as it was 9.40. As we left the building we looked at the times on the door to which it said 10.00pm close. We thought this was disgraceful! We complained to Head office to which we got a telephone call from the general manager saying we could come back for a complimentary meal and we also got vouchers for a meal at any F&B restaurant.
We returned to the same restaurant some weeks later — expecting 100% top class service following our awful experience. We arrived and made ourselves known to the very nice waiter who said he would tell the mananger we were here and that they would come over. No manager came over to us. Our food was disgusting yet again (even worse then last time) My fiends pizza was burned dark black on the underside, very unedible! my chips and chicken burger were stone cold, we couldnt believe this was happening again!!? We told our very nice waiter the problems and he recitified them but still no manager came over to us. It took most of the night until 2 managers came over and discussed the problems to which they said they didnt really know what to say? Overall we will never go back to this franky and bennys ever again! We were so disgusted with the service and food and suggest to everyone to keep well away from this F&B!
