Daventry Country Park was first introduced to me by my PE instructor when we were made to run round it for our cross country running lessons at school. Now luckily I can enjoy it at a more leisurely pace. Next to where you park up is a small adventure playground, with its famous assault net. The walk round the park there is a nice café at the start and information hut which lists the local flora and fauna. Also tucked away is a nice bird hut to catch a glimpse of the geese that inhabit the lake there. It is a lovely place for a sunday afternoon walk in the afternoon, and an escape from the hustle and bustle of daventry.

Been here a few times, once was a school trip. There is a biggish play area with swings and slides and things. There are toilets and a nice café. Biggish lake with ducks and swans. Nice place to go for walks.

Very nice park this is. There is a large play park for the kids to play in including swings, slides, climbing frames, bouncing toys etc And of course the lake which is very big and full of ducks and swans. There are toilets and a reasonably priced café! Its a really nice day out, but unless you are prepared for rain make it on a sunny day as there is little shelter!
