The Royal Oak is one of the nicer pubs in Dartford, I think. It is just on the outskirts of the town centre. It’s not a huge pub, quite small in comparison the the nearby Courthouse and Bull and Vic, but whenever I have been in here I have found the atmosphere to be warm and welcoming. It can get very busy at weekends.
The interior is pleasant and the bar staff are friendly. I have always found the clientelle to be of a better standard than a lot of the other pubs in Dartford.
There are some flat screen tvs dotted around the pub. Apparently they don’t sell Stella in here which may put some people off! But I would definitely recommend a visit.
