I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked past this place and not given it a second glance. I’m usually not a fan of spicy food and this just SCREAMS hot. But thanks to a well-​positioned employee giving out free samples, I tried one of the best lamb shish kebabs I’ve ever had and ran straight to the counter to get more.
You only get a small portion of what you’re ordering, it comes in a black plastic container which doesn’t feel especially expensive and prices tend to be at around the £7 mark, which is expensive for what you get, but oh my, the taste is GOOD.
Spicy, full of flavour with a sauce drizzled on top, that was just the meat. It also came with a salad and three pots of mango chutney, yogurt and something else I didn’t get round to trying, as well as poppadoms. Brilliant.
Compared to the kebabs at Comptoir round the corner, I felt like my mouth had exploded with joy instead of being bored into feeling full. Try it.
