Bridge End Inn

Quaint bar and restaurant. Dinner there was very good. The music in the dinning area was classic American and very good. If in season be sure to save room for the Winberry Tart. This is a little out of the way, but worth the walk or ride.

Location, Location, Location 5 stars for position almost on the bridge across the River Usk at Crickhowell what a spot!
Get your pint and crisps and cross over the lane to the private walled garden, which over-​looks the ancient arched bridge and wier.
Watch for fish jumping out at the water flies or just sit and submerge your thoughts in the sound of the gently rushing waters, quietly contemplating the natural beauty and tranquility of the spot. (If this doesn’t appeal, could always get completely blathered and fall in for a full immersion experience!)
The pub is on the ‘traditional’ side and serves food and drinks actually open all day on the Sunday of this visit, when a lot of the other pubs in the area had closed for the afternoon.
Would probably be 3 stars for the pub itself but the location is just so good. Recommended.
