We went here a week ago and had a lovely, delicious meal and took lots of left-overs home as we couldn’t finish it all! The staff was very capable, and gently funny so that we felt very welcomed and at ease. I can’t wait to visit again!

I’ve been here once before and had a decent meal. That said, last night’s visit was horrendous. Service was appalling: starter plates being practically whisked from under our noses before we’d finished eating from them and generally miserable and sullen table waiting. Matters were made even worse when someone came in to pick up takeaway(clearly a regular) and was greeted with smiles, laughs and banter. My duck tikka vindaloo felt like it had been left out on a table for a week and generally tasted like Donald Duck’s backside. My failure to press the button to leave a gratuity was greeted with what can best be described as angry Indian mutterings. Won’t be going back.

I think you will find that it hasn’t been there for 20yrs or so. the restaurant before burnt down and then Mumtaz was set up. yummy yummy food, definately have the best samosa starters i have ever had
