I like this restaurant a lot… But I’m going to start with the things I don’t likened which stopped it from getting a 5 star rating: — MSG in the food — again! Seriously, I don’t know what it is with Chinese restaurants putting MSG in all their food… seriously??? Yes it makes the food taste better and it becomes addictive, but the health problems are monumental — headaches, insomnia to mention just a couple. — The staff don’t smile very much, or if they do, it’s a fake smile and they lose the smile as soon as they turn around, which turns me off about restaurants. — Feels a bit rushed and BIG, I prefer smaller establishments where it feels more friendly and slow paced. — Location: Not great, a bit too far out for me to visit regularly — but great for Warwick University students no doubt! Ok the good stuff: — Great food! — A lot of dishes here that I really like, they also have a lot of vegetarian options so that’s great. — Very authentic dishes, a few recipes that I’ve not heard of before and as I like to try new things regularly this get’s the thumbs up from me. — The price is not too bad at all, about right for a Chinese buffet really… Overall, a good experience, and they’ve been going for a long long time now so they must know what their doing! This restaurant was tried on a Wednesday and was pretty busy. The reception area is inviting with a bar area with tables and chairs. The restaurant has plenty of seating with either tables and chairs or booths which makes it a bit more cosy — not ideal though as you tend to getting up a fair bit to pile your plate up with more food :) As the name suggests it does offer Chinese food but also offer curries, sushi, pizza and dumplings made to order as well as a live cooking station. In my opinion the food could be better quality, but the food is mass produced. There is plenty of variety and an array of desserts including a chocolate fountain and ice cream machine are nice touches. The waiters /waitresses are a bit quick to take away your plate — that happened to me on a couple of occasions when I still hadn’t quite finished. They do cocktails and mocktails here and have a full licensed bar. There are a few other nice touches — you can order a celebration cake from their menu and there is so much choice! Fancy a sponge bob square pants cake you got it! There is also a playstation area for kids and adults alike which is a cool feature. If you fancy a quick meal with lots of cuisine options then this is your place! It just looses out on a star due to the quality of food

Been coming here for years and the food is still v good although on the pricey side in the evenings it’s still worth it overall.

If you like queuing up for sub-standard food with little taste and enjoy eating at laminate tables with children running around and paying £11 for the privilege then this is the place for you! I’m amazed that others have given 4* reviews, presumably other Chinese restaurants in Coventry must be serving worse food, although that would take some doing. I can only assume that the reviewers put quantity above quality — tough beef, tasteless Singapore noodles and cold fritters for dessert are not what I would expect from my Chinese restaurant. If people in Coventry classify this as 4* then I hate to think what other Chinese restaurants in Coventy are like!

The staff didn’t know how to process my «swipe credit card» from the USA. So I had to pay in cash. The food is descent — I think we drove 20 minutes from the office to get here. Anytime there is a buffet, it is good times! Oh, the chocolate fountain is fun! Don’t see too many of those!

A chinese buffet restaurant which I love to go to. It is nicely decorated and pleanty of seating but it still gets very busy so best to book or get there earlier rather than later for a guarentee. It is great to go with friends, family and young children are welcome also. The food is help yourself and exceptionally good for a buffet chinese. This is also on the dessert section of the restaurant also. Prices are very reasonable. If you are there for a special event then you can have a birthday dessert and music played to the special person. If you fancy a takeaway, there is the option for this. The boxes aren’t too big but practice makes perfect and you can find ways to get it all in. My tip is do the noodles yourself at home! The benifit is you can sample lots of different dishes and if you don’t like something then there isn’t a loss. The staff are lovely and discreet when clearing previous plates from the table.

This is one of the better chinese buffet restaurants in Coventry. It’s nicely decorated and has a large seating area. There is a wide variety of food and a sectionwhere you can have the chef cook your food for you. It’s fantastic to go with friends and family and is child friendly. Definitely worth a visit and good value for money. On birthdays or other special occassions you can, for a small fee(approx £7.50) have the biggest fruit filled ice-cream with sparkles desert you can get! If your not there for a special occassion then the chocolate fountain is worth a visit! They also offer a takeway service for £5.00 per person. The containers you get aren’t very large but if your inventive you can fit quite a lot in!

This is a great place to eat and offers a great range of food in their buffet service, at a reasonable price too. The staff are always really friendly and the food is always lovely. The buffet service makes it more enjoyable as it means you can go and eat as much as you want, when you want it rather than ordering one dish, you can sample a lot of different dishes and you will always try something different.

This is a really great chinese buffet restaurant. The choice of food is vast with fantastic duck on the starters. There is also a teppanyaki chef cooking up your chioice of meat/fish with veg and lots of great flavours. dessert bar is good also but i never have room left by that point! Staff very attentive and helpful. Think it is about £15 per head at weekend which is a bargain for the food you get.

Absolutely love this place! The best Chinese buffet I’ve ever been too. Huge selection of food, loads of dim sum and main courses. Teppanyaki section serving fresh meat, fish and veg cooked for you by a chef on a huge hotplate. Unlike most other buffets, they even have a wide range of desserts including a giant chocolate fountain — can’t go wrong with a chocolate fountain :) Great value for money, especially at lunchtimes, food is always hot and as it’s busy, food is regularly replaced so not sitting there all night. Tends to get busy but never usually have to queue for food. I’d eat here every night if I could!

The wingwah is a good chinese buffet. They selection is huge and on the night times there is more choice and you can get the stuff fried up for you aswell so all the fresh veggies cooked to how you like them the selction of starters and main is very extensive. They even do a yuk sung. The dessert is chocolate fountain and ice cream and fruit. When you are there you often see the sparkers come out in pineapples for peoples birthdays, This is always good fun. This place is nice but it’s just a bit canteen ish as you have to serve yourself and the décor is not overly exciting.

Only visited once and was failry satisfied with what i was served. Takeaway option is handy and food is always nice, even though i dont really like chinese. Place is very clean and you do often see cleaners cleaning during the day. Is also a nice place to go for a pint as it is fairly cheap and KIDSEATFREE. Situation in a ideal location on a main road and parking is easy, and getting seated is no problem. Ok value for money but chinese not my thing

This place is massive and can fit more than 100 people. this is a buffett restaurant with a huge variety of food to choose from. I personally liked the teppanyaki as it was less stuffing. overall it was a good experience especially with a big groups of people.
