Nice place for a lazy lunch. Really nice bangers and mash. Roaring fire and nice atmosphere.

I have been here several times spanning 15 years the place has rarely changed during this period, The food is top quality I have never been disappointed and the portion sizes are generous. The beer has always been good especially if you like real ale. The place is on the small size I would recommend to book in advance

Found this place on qype after dropping daughter off for a dance lesson nearby. A complete stranger to the district I took a chance. At 6 pm it was heaving busy and the food was great and reasonably priced too. No under 18s in the bar after 7pm but they squeezed us into the restaurant. I had oxtail, pigeon and rabbit pie(£11) and it was really nice. Lots of real ale too. Perfect wish it was my local

I love the greyhound for a nice relaxing drink in the summer, The location is about the best you could hope for as a country pub, it is right on the Canal interchange so you can walk along this lovely stretch of canal, see the locks, the old buildings used to service the canal in it’s hay day and the pictuesque stone bridges all with pint in hand as the pub is right there in the thick of it. The pub itself is very quaint and actually very small but that doesnt matter in the summer, as you will be outside by choice anyway, I have never been in off season and I have never eaten hee either so i cannot comment but this is the first place i plan to visit when i want to go for a drink on a pleasant summers day! top marks Greyhound!

The best pub in Coventry, bar none. Best location next to a busy canal interchange so you can idly watch the barges go by, and also lots of ducks and(in summer) swans to watch and feed; committed to real ale and cider two festivals a year, Aspall’s and Thatcher’s Gold available all year round and often a rotating guest available; good food the Hound Pound will amaze you, three half-pound steakburgers topped with cheese and bacon; and a lovely welcoming feel whatever the season, with a roaring log fire in the winter and a big beer garden in summer. If I lived in the flats across the canal, I would buy a dinghy so I could get there quicker. Just won area CAMRA Pub of the Year(again!)

This pub has been voted best pub in the Godiva Awards many times, and rightly so. On the side of the canal, this pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and very well kept beer. There is a restaurant serving high quality food and regular beer festivals with live music. Very highly recommended, this is worth the trip.
