Red Panda

It says «all you can eat buffet», but they will tell you they don’t have it anymore, and a lonely guy shouldn’t have buffet. I walked by on another day and still sees people having buffets. Apparently they said so because you don’t order extra drinks! This restaurant is disgusting!

This is an All You Can Eat Chinese restaurant. £12.99 per adult, £6.50 for kids and really little ones eat free (I don’t know if there are any terms and conditions for that though). That includes starters, mains and desserts but drinks are extra.
The food was nice and was being constantly refreshed. There was something for everyone. I must say I have been to better places of a similar nature but I think Red Panda is nice for a change. It’s good value (well, it was for me, my 11 year old had 5 course for £6.50!). The main dishes included curries, chicken, sushi and vegetarian as well as chips and onion rings. Compared to other places, Red Panda is fairly small. It’s very clean. The staff are friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was that, unlike other restaurants, they don’t come to your table to take drinks orders or to give you the bill. You have to do all that at the bar. Although, if drinks are ordered at the bar, they will be brought to the table and added to the final bill.
I went with a party of 8 including kids. We all found plenty we liked and certainly got our money’s worth. I wouldn’t mind going again to see what it’s like at lunch time (it’s a bit cheaper then! I guess they wouldn’t have quite so much choice though).
I didn’t go to the toilet while I was there so I can’t say much about them but those who did said they were OK. The men’s and women’s toilets are separate but the sink is in between the two. They are upstairs. I didn’t notice whether there were disabled toilets or disabled access.
