I had heard about this place a couple of times, and one Sunday afternoon I decided to stop by unintentionally whilst on route to somewhere else. This pub reminds me of a working men’s club, and is very much traditional in decoration. Unfortunately I felt a bit uncomfortable as the regulars continued to stare at us as we weren’t locals, and gave us a look of «who are you?» but that didn’t drive us away. The bar lady was friendly enough. As it was such a lovely sunny day, we took our drinks outside to bask in the sun and sat on one of the many picnic tables. The pub is dog friendly which is nice to see with plenty of dogs inside and out. I wouldn’t rush to visit this pub again, unless I was really desperate!
