I went here once and it was not as bad as people say but it was not nothing amazing either for the price i think it is not worth the money as you could get a meal simmilar to what you get here and make it at home for much cheaper. But it is a dayout so it is not as bad.

Went 3times over the last years, always a nice athmosphere, quality furniture. Sit down, order, and get some free salad from the bar to start with, love it! It’s pub food, but rather large amount of choice, a bit pricey, that’s for the athmosphere, you can see the grill! Worth trying!

The Harvester used to be one of the few reliable chain restaurants in Coventry that would have viable and somewhat palatable vegetarian options available. Apparently no more. While service was swift, the salad bar full (and available for as many visits as you like), and location good, the menu was pretty poor. Regardless of the vegetarian options available, the menu is food-​by-​rote, prepared by people more intent on discussing the football scores. Or so it seemed. Everything was a little slap-​dash, even for a chain place like this.
We won’t be hurrying back. Mind you, I’m not sure where else in Coventry we might hurry to!!!
