Lovely food! Quick lunch time service, very reasonable for the good quality meals, recommend the lasagne and chips: D

We went here for a drink and thought it was quite nice. It’s family friendly with plenty of things for the kids to do outside and the drinks are reasonably priced. However, when we went to go for a meal, we soon changed our mind as we felt the prices were unreasonable. For an evening meal, we might have stayed but we were there at lunchtime and just wanted a light meal. While they did have light meals on the menu, we felt that items such as a salad for £10 was ridiculous.

Nice country local with well kept ales and other beers. Compact family pub with good atmosphere, and not too far from suburban Coventry. A nice Sunday afternoon bike ride.

Always a good steak and friendly staff. It does get very busy and sometimes this means you are packed in and close to other tables. Service is very good and even when it is busy you don’t wait too long. Plenty of free parking. Child friendly, not always what I want as my children are grown up but for those with young families a greta place to take them.

Plenty of choice on the menu’s. Food is great and caters for all people. The waiting staff are friendly, helpful and able to answer questions about the menu and specials. Despite being very busy on a hot Saturday evening, we were seated immediately. A nice friendly atmosphere. Pleasant surroundings with lots of room indoors and out. Definitely a family pub. apart from the positives, i had to wait over an hour for food after ordering which

just what you would expect of a country pub but very rarely get well worth a visit

if you take this place at face value it is unbeatable! it is not pretending to be anything else than what it is — rural pub offering good food done at very reasonable prices (Sunday Carvery + pudding £8.25) it is not at all posh, the tables are very close together it can get very crowded, and the food is not Michelin star, but it is tasty and filling, the service very good, and it serves till 4 on a Sunday the place is always packed so would recommend booking. the car park is overflowing no matter when you go! Also at the front of the pub have non eating part which is also fairly busy — do Real Ales nice walks locally. bluebell woods etc. would recommend on the whole, the fact it is always busy i think says it all.
