Used this little café most days of the week when I worked in Cheltenham during the week, I’m an extremely fussy eater and I was always very satisfied with the food here, believe me I’m very difficult to impress when it comes to food, if I return to the same place place again and again to eat, it’s because the food is top notch, although I only ever tried the fried breakfasts or a quick sandwich when I was rushed. Now I’m no longer working in Cheltenham I have given up on fried breakfasts as where I’m from(The Black Country) the breakfasts from the café’s around here are totally appalling, very low quality food and a plate covered in so much grease you could go for a swim in it. Regarding some of the other reviews mentioning very rude staff, I find this very hard to believe, it does sometimes get very busy which is always a good sign in my book, and therefore you do have to wait a while for your food sometimes, but it’s cooked to perfection and good things come to those who wait, staff were always very pleasant when I was there and a nice garden out the back to enjoy your food outside in the summer.

Cute little café on the Bath Road. Great food, excellent service, good sized portions, its not expensive but you get what you pay for and it is home made. We have been here for Breakfast, lunch and for tea and cake for treats and it has always been good :-)

A very lovely little café, great relaxed atmosphere and always smells delicious. They even do a takeaway option which is very useful when you’re working from home in the mornings. It is not a cheap greasy spoon café and the prices reflect this, portion sizes are generous and the staff are warm and friendly.

Breakfast for the discerning adult, sit back eat slow and enjoy, plenty of breakfast for a reasonable price, a treat once a month, any more often and you would put on the pounds, try and get a table in the garden overgrown oasis both cosy and intimate.

Ramshackle and random, this is mostly a bit of a gem. Local artwork adorns the walls, and the garden is like a tiny terraced museum. At its best for breakfast or brunch — or any time that it’s open and you fancy a fry-up, really. Service can be slow at busy times, but worth waiting for just so long as you don’t have a starving small child in tow.
