FFS this place makes delicious stuff. I just spent 42 quid here on a small juice, 2 shakes, a salad and a bunch of deserts. Thank gosh most stuff was sold out by the time I came or I would have gone broke! The cocoa milk has a slightly sweet but not overwhelming flavour and the cocoa is subtle. I got the two most popular shakes: the NUTBUTTERFUDGE: Peanut/almond butter, banana, raw cacao, dates, filtered water, pink Himalayan salt for £5.95 and the CHAISPICEDMACA– Banana, almond butter, coconut nectar, filtered water, ice, maca, chai spice, vanilla powder, figs, cinnamon, pink Himalayan salt for the same price. The first is quite thick with cocoa nibs throughout and I quite liked it. The second is AMAZING. Hands down, one of the best smoothies I have ever had. The cinnamon + chai flavour is powerful. So much yum! Rave reviews on the desserts: CHOCOLATEKRISPIECUPS– Raw chocolate, dehydrated buckwheat, desiccated coconut, dates, raisins– £3.25– SOCHOCOLATEYNOMNOM! CARAMELBARS – Desiccated coconut, cashews, macadamia nuts, maple syrup, coconut oil, raw chocolate PEANUTBUTTERFLORENTINES– Peanuts, cacao butter, buckwheat seeds, coconut oil, cacao paste, coconut sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, himalayan salt — £4.75 SUPERFOODTRUFFLES– Pistachio, Hazelnut-Cinnamon, Raspberry, Cacao Nibs Cashews, cacao, maple syrup, cacao butter, pink Himalayan salt — £5.75 Finally, the TACOBOWL– Steamed quinoa, cos lettuce, walnut taco mix, Pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cashew cream, chilli– £8.75– «Meaty» without the meat, with quinoa that is full of flavour. Lots of avo made me happy! Dammit, why can’t you come to Finchley Road!
