Not great. Lunchtime, only customer. As I was wearing shorts on a very hot day, the waiter looked me up and down before offering me a seat. Menu was well used and dog eared — needed replacing — a laminated sheet of A4 can’t be too difficult. The wine list(not that I used it) was beautifully presented. Food looked standard with a few specials. I ordered a lamb dopiaza with a paratha and a bhaji. Took 20 minutes to come, OK — cooked to order and I wasn’t in a rush. Service was good, presented to me on a trolley(bit of overkill, maybe). Unfortunately, the food wasn’t good. The menu says ‘applied with dozens of spices’, but was fairly tasteless with tough lamb and too much ghee sitting in the dish. Won’t go again. Sorry!

I went to this restaurant when it first opened and was not impressed. Last week(about a year later) I revisited and, in my opinion, it had not improved. The waiters were almost rude and quite pushy trying to get you to order more drinks, side dishes etc. The food was nothing to rave about either.
