Just visited Reading for the weekend and ran across this oddly named thai restaurant(not really a pub). Very good food, friendly prompt service, and chill atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

I’m new to Reading and keep passing by this quaint little Thai restaurant/pub(bizarre combination, but totally worth checking out). I finally decided to try it out with a couple of friends tonight and wasn’t disappointed! It wasn’t packed, but definitely busy for a Thursday night. The atmosphere was very inviting, soft lighting and friendly wait staff(although not as attentive as they could have been, had to wait on the bill for a while). The food was pretty good though! Not the BEST Thai I’ve ever had, but in Reading and for the price, not bad at all. I had the green curry with chicken and my friends both had noodle dishes. We all left with happy tummies. Will definitely be going back to try the red curry and tom yum!

Best Thai food I’ve tasted so far in Reading. Tuesdays are curry nights, a bowl of either panang curry, green curry or red curry with steamed rice and a side of prawn crackers go for £5. The tom yum was spicy and tangy, just what a tom yum should be. Ambience was nice, quiet, romantic. Good food and good service!

Warwick arms with friends or alone for a cheap and cheerful Thai meal in an wonderful atmosphere, they have lots of ‘offers’ available on different days like 2 main courses for the price of one or a free bottle of wine with 2 meals. The staff are very obliging and there is very good internet access. The Thai food tastes like an English version than something authentic.

Because Thai food is my favorite, I wondered why I never tried the Warwick before? Once inside, the atmosphere is very soft and smooth, welcoming of course. But I was looking forward to try some food. My frustration from Thai restaurant around Reading left me without any conviction to that one. Amazingly, I had a great experience last night with a large group booking. Had the Tom Yum Prawns soup exquisite. Followed for me by the Green Thai Curry Prawns divine taste even if too soupy texture. Tried around the Red curry and is tasteful as well. I feel like going back to try some dishes seen around the table. A should try to all for the real Thai taste experience. The down point is no private parking.

Great Thai food and always have deals on so you shouldn’t need to pay full price.

There’s no question that the food in this place is absolutely divine. It’s a rather unique set-up in that you are quite welcome to go in for a few drinks or order food so it’s pretty laid back and you can relax without feeling rushed or hassled. There’s a good range of drinks including beers on draft. Sadly it is let down by the lack of clarity over what is going on when. The place does give itself over to private functions and when it does, you’re not allowed in. One Sunday we went in(having travelled from the other side of Reading) to be told, lunch is over but we open again at 6. No problems we thought, we’ll have a couple of drinks and come back at 6. We came back at 6 to be told there was a private function on at 7 and that we weren’t allowed in, even if we were quick. What an absolute waste of a journey and time! Whilst I can appreciate the lucrative nature of private functions, I don’t believe it’s good to alienate your regular customers the way they did and as a result I’ve been very reluctant to return since.

Cheap and cheerful Thai that offers good value for money. We had 2 beers, shared a starter, and had 2 mains for about £27 which is not bad. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was not too busy when we arrived about 7.30 on a Friday night but was bust by the time we left. Some tabled were reserved so I assume you can book. Not tried takeaway but I’m told that’s not bad either. Food was good, not quite as good as Thai Corner which I’d still recommend as the best Thai in Reading. Overall 3.5 stars, would definitely try again, maybe for lunch as it’s near my work.

The best Thai in Reading, in terms of quality and value for money. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, many regular customers(I consider myself one of them). Everything I ve had has been great. I really like this place.
