Castlefield Temporary Beach

So over the Easter Bank holiday I was enjoying a pint or ten in sunny Castlefield. I was with a group of friends and we were at Dukes 92. Shocked by the truly ridiculous bar prices we decided to head off somewhere else.
Castlefield Beach! It’s a temporary beach with real sand, a bar, burger van and live stage! I think the council are attempting to compensate for the gap left by the demise of DPercussion Festival which ended in 2008 sadly. For anyone who fancies something a bit different for an outside drink on a hot day, I thoroughly recommend you try it before it disappears. They have plenty of seating include parasols and free deck chairs for use.
