Generally an all-​round average cinema. Screens are quite big and the seats are rather ergonomic and comfortable as cinemas go.
Prices are the usual for cinemas (currently £6 an adult ticket) and the food/​snacks/​drinks are at their usual sky-​high price.
On weekends you’ll usually find a load of kids hanging around outside for no apparent reason — you know, the kind of kids who stand around drinking energy drinks and pretending it’s alcohol — but ignore them and you should have a good time.

Despite being over-​run with more than its fair share of stree urchins, the omniplex is a pleasant cinema which seem to keep the majority of the pre pubescent brigade from spoiling the enjoyment of the cinema.
Screen sizes while not all massive are certainly a lot bigger than some of the tiny ones that you find in screen 20 of the other national chains.
The cinema does its usual range of chocolate, drinks, popcorn and pick & mix but dont go there expecting much change from you weekly paycheck especially if you go with kids.
Admission wise I think for where it is and what it delivers it is a bit in the expensive side and indeed you can go to cinemal in the big metropolis down the road cheaper. If they sorted this out I think i would give them a higher rating.

Carrick cinema has recently had a mini overhaul and its definitely looking well! the screens are all a decent size and the seats are comfortable enough as cinemas go. As well as this, there is a great selection of drinks and snacks, although these are on the pricey side (which i think is standard for cinemas these days). Staff are friendly and there is generally a decent enough range of films on show.
I would recomend going in early and buying tickets for really big films though, as the queues aren’t fun, and quite often at the weekend loads of teenagers are lurking around outside, which is a bit annoying! However the cinema is in a good location, as springsteens is right beside it so you can go in for a snack before hand if the hefty snack prices put you off!
