The Flying Banana Art Club

I like art and I like pubs. I especially like trying to combine the two activities. Exhibition openings and drinks after. Creative ‘meetings’ over a cheeky beer. That kind of thing. All hail the flying banana art club! The brainchild of Cardiff artist and man about town Barrie J Davies, this is a group for artists, performers, poets, makers, writers, musicians, film makers to meet up and discuss ideas and collaborate on projects, exhibitions and stuff. This of course takes place in a pub. He says: ‘Come and join the revolution!’ The Flying Banana Art Club meets on the first Monday of the month at the Pen and Wig in Cardiff from 7pm. Cheers!
