This is a Cuban-themed bar/restaurant that doesn’t really serve authentic Cuban food. The food is bar food with a Spanish/Latin flair such as paella, tapas, and hamburgers. The tv screens show a continuous loop of old black and white video from 1950s, pre-revolution Cuba and they play a mix of Cuban music and old rock and roll. They have a cheaper price for a starter and main from a special menu so we ordered the cauliflower wings. They were spicy but not really flavorful, but the rum sauce helped give them some flavor. My husband had the aubergine paella and I had the Paella de Cuba and they were pretty good. Service was a bit slow and more«bar service» than restaurant service… less attentive. Our waitress was pleasant but when her shift ended no one seemed to be waiting on us.

What a great place! It is big and airy but with a dark Latino bar feel. A long bar with a dazzling array of drinks available. The cocktails are great. Try a Teapot where the drink is served in tin mugs. They often have live music and the dance floor offers an opportunity to try, or admire others, doing salsa. Gets very busy and the bar isn’t always staffed well enough to avoid long waits while cocktails are created.

This Cuban restaurant/bar serves great cocktails. It regularly has live music. There is a good rang of cocktails with a choice of Tapas, Burgers and main meals. The atmosphere is loud though there are several table conducting conversation. The food here was not authentic but tasted very good. It is convenient if local but I wouldn’t travel. I think the real go here it the drinking and parting.
