Service with a smile in a very warm and welcoming environment. I always have the veggie burger with chips. The portions are massive and the food delicious.

Based in Albany Road, with a green sign covering the top of the café. Relax and enjoy this food and drink with friends and family a nifty little place with an outside eating area at the back.
Tasty and delicious food to fill up your stomachs and addictive cravings. I’ve had a creamy, bubbly milkshake and free, fresh tap water before. They do wonderful toasty sandwiches and Panini’s.
They also do lovely chocolate cakes; Ice Cream, cheesecakes and carrot cakes. Often under £10’s each. It can get very busy sometimes, but they are pretty quick with their waitressing skills. It is a cosy café, perfect for lunch or afternoon tea.
The staff are friendly enough and quick to give you what you wish. I love going there, as it is a place full of tranquillity atmosphere suitable for all adults and maybe for some children. It is not really a wheel chair, or a baby pushchair accessible place.

I’ve been here a couple of times for all-​day veggie breakfast, and have enjoyed it both times. For £4 you get a hashbrown, beans, mushrooms, a veggie sausage, a fried egg and a couple of slices of toast. They do a large size veggie breafkast as well, and two sizes of meaty breakfast.
Most of the tables sit 2 or 4, but there are two larger tables in the window alcoves at the front. There’s also a small garden or patio out the back, but I haven’t sat there.

Right, so sometimes you are writing reviews and you think ‘That’s it, there is nowhere else that I could possibly review. What am I going to do?’ And then you remember that place that you haven’t been to in so long, that you really liked all the way back when. This is one of those places (I hope no one’s coming to come along and tell me that it’s shut now because I really want to visit it again).
Let me see if I can remember to what it was like…
Oh, yes, it was lovely. The staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly and up for a little bit of banter. The atmosphere was great, nice and relaxed but not completely slobbish. Oh, I just hope it hasn’t changed.

Loved this little coffee house, especially the window seats — great for people watching with a nice mug of tea. Had to wait over 25 minutes for a panini and chips which was a little frustrating, although the huge basket of homemade chips made up for the wait!

Popped in for a cup of tea after romping around Roath lake on a cold wintry afternoon in January and was immediately greeted by a wall of warmth, which was very welcoming. The coffee shop is small but not crowded and the staff are friendly and polite. You get the sense that this place has a lot of loyal regular customers.
The combination of tea, warmth and mellow music, mostly crooners from the fifties and sixties, made me sleepy in a very good way. I’ll definitely go back, if just to try one of the tasty looking pies they had on display (the types that you imagine one of the Famous Five taking on one of their infamous picknicks).

Delicious coffee and snacks on offer and a great relaxed atmosphere, well worth checking out if you’re in the Roath area. The breakfast served here is particularly yummy.
Parking in this area can be tricky so best to visit on foot if you’re in the area (Wellfield Rd).

Here I had my firs cappuccino with cinnamon. I had friends in Melrose Ave and Dorchester Ave so I used to stop here, too. The breakfast I can recommend, also the teacakes, toasts and much more. You have to order at the counter. The staff is always friendly here.
Cool to observe people passing along Wellfield Road!
