Yesterday my partner and I decided that the best way to cure our hangover was to grab some food in the sun. We fancied Italian but had no idea how close to Italy we would actually get. On arrival there were lots of Italians at the restaurant which to me is always a good sign. They were eating laughing and joking but it appeared friendly and to be honest added to the appeal of the place. There is something to be said for the loud Italian accent echoing across a room followed by a huge laugh when enjoying good food. Staff were friendly and we ordered Aranchini for starters mine Italian sauce and chilli, my partner mushroom and cheese followed by two pizzas. I had the Italian sausage and cheese and girlfriend the four cheese pizza. The only thing I can say is that they should have earned us how big the pizzas were. They were huge, covered in tasty toppings, piping hot and full of flavour just as the Aranchini. We ended up taking half the one pizza home. But as good as the food was honestly for a moment with the smells sounds and sun shining we were in a little café in Italy enjoying an afternoon meal. Well recommended to anyone. With this so close I honestly do not understand how pizza hut remains in business. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
