I stayed here during last year’s Swn Festival. It is a kind of no-frills place. Budget but clean. I didn’t have breakfast there as it cost extra, and there are plenty of nice greasy and none-greasy spoons within walking distance. The guesthouse is a large Victorian building located within walking distance of Cardiff City Centre and graded 3* by Visit Wales. They have ensuite bathrooms… these are teeny teeny tiny and not very ‘private’ so if you’re going for a passionate fling of a weekend, this is perhaps not the best place for you. For those crashing alone, or in the kind of relationships where you happily leave the door open while defecating, you’ll be fine. The rooms also have an LCDTV with Freeview and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also free parking and WiFi is available in the TV Lounge.
