If you go to Pizza Hut for lunch you can get the unlimited buffet and it’s only £8(or around) and it worth it! 5 or 6 different pizza, plus salad and pasta! It is really cheap compared to what you eat! Waiters are really smiling too!

fairly poor standards, the food is mostly cold, the plates and cutlery dirty, the pizza we ordered came with toppings but hardly any cheese! the cookie dough was the best part, even though the plate was dirty. cluttered and nosey. wouldnt go to this one again. the westwood cross one seems the better option.

I’ve been in here plenty of times for the lunch buffet and never had any complaints. Good service, good food, for a good price.

Awful company to work for. This was my first job and originally I was delighted to get it. However, it took them a few weeks to respond after my interview. I then couldn’t attend the induction due to the snow so they said they’d put me onto next weeks’ course. They did not call back to give me any information about it, to the point where I had to call up 3 times to speak to the manager. I then eventually attended the induction, which was fine, and we were told that the next Friday we would be paid for this, which I was not expecting. I then went in for my first shift on the Tuesday. This was meant to be my training, but they had not put me onto the programme yet so I was told to just«go for it». This was the night that the Canterbury staff were going out on a booze up, and the Ashford staff were in charge in stead. It must have been one of the most stressful nights of my life. I was not treated with respect at all, and even got told off if i wasn’t doing something right, bearing in mind this was my first job and I hadn’t had training. I then went back the following saturday for what was supposed to be a 4 hour shift, but then got sent home after 2 hours due to the snow. Since then, it has been 3 months, and I STILLHAVEN’T EVENBEENPAID, in fact, they didn’t even take any of my details. I haven’t been called to work again either. Not the best first job.

We arrived, hungry, Sat. 9.10.10 at 21.05. I ordered«Alfredo Pollo»(Tortiglioni pasta tubes in a rich creamy white sauce with chicken breast and roasted vegetables) on Menu at £7.99. When it arrived I saw a bowlful of pasta with a small amount of aubergine and cherry tomato, and a sprinkling of parsley. Couldn’t see any chicken! So asked the waiter to identify it for me! He found 3 or 4 pieces of chicken strips app. 1 ½″ x ¼″ x ¼″. I asked to see the Manager. He told me this dish had been correctly prepared according to the recipe set by the Company. I said I would only eat it if he agreed to give me a substantial discount — — and as it was, by then, almost cold, if it could be reheated in the microwave. He agreed to the discount, but declined to have it microwaved, saying a fresh dish could be done witrhin 4 minutes. The second version arrived with some 15 — 16 strips of chicken, and was actually quite O.K. The Bill showed a discount of £3.99, and came to a total of £17.06. I paid by Credit Card — but found, to my amazement, that the Staff Member who had processed the transaction had entered £24.85 as the amount due! The Manager was summoned, and he found he was unable to process a Credit Value to my Credit Card — so he gave me £7.79 in cash. Needless to say we will not return to Pizza Hut Canterbury!

Not a Pizza Hut I am likely to visit again. They place is tiny and we were sat right between the wall and the salad cart, meaning that everytime someone wanted salad they practically sat on our table to get it! I’m not sure how they manage to hold children’s parties in there. The starter then arrived cold, but then at least it arrived, the drinks were nowhere to be seen despite many reminders to the staff. The main pizza was fine however they didn’t have any of the puddings we had asked for. The restaurant itself is quite shabby and also a bit unclean.

We have just been for a meal at Pizza Hut. We drove all the way to Canterbury because I love the salad bar at pizza hut and Folkestone only has take away now. It was very busy when we arrived and we had to wait around 5 minutes for a table, the waitress was very friendly though. Once we were sat down it took more than 20 minutes for anyone to take our order which was a bit annoying as our 8 month old son way hungry. Once we had made our order we headed for the salad bar but I was very dissapointed. Many of the tubs were empty or almost empty. The potato salad looked very odd and there were items clearly missing. I had to scrape the last of the sweetcorn out of the tub. I would have asked the waitress to see if they could fill it up but they were so busy I thought it would take too long. We had been sat near the front door and as people were waiting to be seated they were standing with the door open. This meant the whole place was freezing. We asked to be moved which was done pretty quickly to the waitresses credit. Our pizza then arrived and it was a bit dissapointing, there was not much cheese on it. We ate it all but it was not as good as usual. All through the meal we could tell that the staff were rushed off their feet. When I popped to the bathroom I saw the buffett table. I was surprised to see that it was still full of half eaten pizzas and this was 7pm, the lunch buffet would have finished some hours previously. All in all it was a dissapointing meal. The staff were appologetic but that didn’t stop us paying £25 for a meal we didn’t really enjoy as much as we had expected.

Just had a change of staff and management so things looking up. Food is always good but restaurant feels cluttered and space a bit tight. Have taken a couple of groups in and they look after you well with things for the kids to do whilst waiting for their meals. Bit pricey but have some good deals.
