I have IBS and went to the toilet three times because I had a ‘hot’ Nandos that night. Now I’m barred for doing drugs because I went to the toilet too often. They then replied to my message which I sent to their Facebook saying that they apologise that I have IBS, which personally I find is a rather passive-aggressive way to respond to a customer. Then they went on to accuse me of having drugs in my possession, saying«unless IBS medication now comes in powder form…» — yet another passive-aggressive way of speaking to a customer. I had no powder on me or in my possession. I was there to celebrate my Japanese friend coming to visit me after a year of being apart. Also, considering they have a zero tolerance policy, they should’ve kicked me out on that night — when I allegedly was doing drugs(AKA having a poo). Instead they kicked me out the following night — when I didn’t have any drugs on me either. i Otherwise, nice atmosphere and overpriced cocktails.

I love this place — great for a chilled out drink in the afternoon or an evening with friends(large tables so lots of space!). Full of vintage sewing machines and typewriters and with a lovely selection of music. Also, a pool table! Definitely one of my favorite bars in Canterbury.

Prices for drinks, décor, music playlist, and staff are great! Four stars for that But really, three stars cause the crowd that congregates is a hit or miss. Most of the time it’s an older crowd and/or predominately female. Haven’t tried the food
