I usually avoid TK Maxx because I prefer my shops neat and organised. If you have the patience, however, you may just find a bargain. From kitchen bins and men’s trainers, to Disney princess make-up sets and marshmellow fluff, TK Maxx is certainly diverse, and often surprising!

One thing to say, anywhere you can find a saville row tie, like the one I wearing for just £13 is a good place to shop. As TK Maxx advertise; ‘designer labels for high street prices’!

This is the only T K Maxx store I’ve ever been in so I don’t know how it compares to the others but I thought it was great. Sure, it was crowded and the clothing department was totally messy(things falling off hangers, on the floor, in the wrong place, no price tags) but there were some great bargains, especially in the homeware department. Fantastic prices !

I wouldn’t recommend going into this store unless you have a bit of time on your hands. Sometimes it feels a bit like an upmarket jumble sale — items everywhere, not always in any kind of logical order! That said, if you do have the time to browse, you can pick up some real gems — anything from ‘designer’ clothes at a bargain basement price to cheap trainers to kitchenware, gym gear, luggage and beauty accessories. You have to wade through rubbish to get to the gems — but one man’s(or woman’s) junk is another man’s treasures! I’ve got some real bargains at this store before so if you’re not in a rush and don’t have clear ideas in your head of what you’re after, I would persevere because the stock is regularly updated and you might just find something fabulous! But if you go in there with a really set idea of what you want you could leave disappointed.

TK Maxx in cambridge is a large store with a good range of items. The downstairs has womens clothing, and shoes. The upstairs has Mens, Childrens clothing and toys, and also a Home section. The home section is better than a lot of TK Maxx stores. they have a lot of cushions, throw, pictures, towels, saucepans and other kitchen items. The childresn clothing is also quite good. Always items at reduced prices. They have lot of Ski wear so go here if you are planning a ski trip on a budget! — the range consists of designer brands at highly reduced prices, so you get good quality items for a small price. Parking is easy and there are other stores nearby.

With T K Maxx you do not expect perfect order, or great customer service. It is bargains you are after. One T K Maxx varies a lot from the next, depending on what stock is in. However, the Cambridge T K Maxx is the most chaotic I have been to. Clothes were all over the place, in the wrong section — trousers with tops, coats with skirts. And none of the sizes were in the correct places, so you really had to rummage to find what you were looking for. The staff were relatively helpful, although several of the items I found were mis-priced, or without prices altogether, which delayed my shopping further. It is great for a bargain, but if you are after a stress-free shopping experience stick to the high street and pay a bit more.

Super store jam packed full of clothes and homeware and bargains. Situated near Argos in Cambridge, is well worth a visit. It also houses many designer seconds.
