Is it a pet food shop? Is it a health food store? Neither. — Nature’s Corner is, in fact, a little bit of both! If you’re wondering, the things of human interest reside on the right side of the shop, whilst you’ll find the fun pet things on the left. I don’t have a pet other than my hamster, Dwight, and I don’t think anything would take his fancy here. He has three interests; food and sleep and food. However, the pet food shop was more geared towards dog and pet owners. I wandered over to the healthy side and found to my amazement, quite possibly, the best range of Pukka teas I’ve ever seen. I know I’ve said this many a time about other health food shops but I mean it this time round. They had NEW Pukka tea; one I’d never ever laid eyes on before. With NEW packaging too. Nature’s Corner, you are ahead of the game with your Pukka Tea selection and I thank you for the Star-anise and Cinnamon packet which now graces my tea-shelf with it’s presence.(Yes, I do have a tea-shelf!) The tea was a tad more expensive than supermarket prices, but that’s to be expected with smaller businesses and I was happy to pay extra. Lucky for me, all Pukka teas had 10% off. Lovely! Whilst there wasn’t a huge selection of stock like that of larger health food stores, it was varied and sufficient, with some quirky homemade soaps and the pet food section did have a wide selection of organic dog treats. We were greeted warmly and served with a smile. And I left happy with my new Pukka tea.(I’ve tried it and I love it!) Nature’s Corner was a lovely little stop on our afternoon meander in Callender and I’d be inclined to pay another visit when I’m next in that neck of the woods.
