It’s a great place. Clean and comfortable. Good extensive menu and reasonably priced with well-​trained young staff who can’t seem to do enough for you. If every pub, bar and restaurant was like this the world would be a far better place!

Very nice pub half way between Ramsbottom and Bolton. It’s small and ‘local’, extremely cosy. Where this place excels though is in the attached restaurant. Again not big, but a great atmosphere and superb food. You can get the ‘posh’ stuff, but they also do a mean steak and kidney pudding.
You can get bar meals too.
The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to please you. Prices aren’t unreasonable.
Children are welcome as long as it’s not too late, and as long as they don’t annoy me if I happen to be on seconds.
