This coffee chain replaces a not so successful Coffee Republic and to be fair, Bury is not so overrun by Starbucks and others as many other town centres.
But to be honest Bru Station’s weak attempts to masquerade its corporate roots with some kind of quirkiness — Fancy a Brew? — is just a bit annoying.
It fulfills the task of providing chairs, both outside and in, plus coffee and the usual suspects of paninis, cakes and things for accompaniments. As far as I know there isn’t any free Wi-​Fi and this coffee shop is a long way off becoming any kind of cool hang out.
