The Prairie

Service is non existent. To say the place is under staffed is a complete understatement. Seemingly one chef in the kitchen tying to serve a pub full, 2 bar staff on trying to serve a pub full. Not good enough at all. I will definitely not be eating again here.

The Prairie is a large pub on the outskirts of Burnley, close to Burnley Hospital. It has recently undergone some renovations works and has been reopened as a much smarter and more modern looking pub. The pub sells a range of reasonably priced pub food which, whilst far from amazing, is tasty enough and fills a hole. The service is relatively quick so you can pop in for a quick lunch even if you’re on your lunch hour and you should be able to eat and get back to the office without upsetting your boss too much! The drinks on offer are pretty much standard for most pubs and the prices are reasonable. The Prairie is an out of town pub so it doesn’t tend to get very busy but there is parking which makes it easier to access if you’re driving, just remember not to drink and drive.
