Mad About Sweets

Out of the three sweet shops located on Bromsgrove High street, this is the best one to go in if you want to spend the least amount of money.
I made the mistake of spending way too much in the first sweet shop I found, when in fact, a lot of things sold in Mad About Sweets are exactly the same, and cost much less. Most of the jars are 70p per 100g, which is brilliant, and you can get sweets as strange/​unusual as ginger creams, chocolate stem ginger and a range of different flavoured rocks.
From the outside, the shop looks as though it might be listed, because it is aesthetically very Tudor (or maybe mock Tudor, Im no expert!) The shop is very little and cosy, and really harks back to the nostalgic days of buying sweets from independent stores.
This shop is definitely worth a visit, and if you’re as addicted to licorice as I am, you’ll be in heaven when you see how many different pieces are sold in here!
