Really lovely décor. I love the tables and chairs. It’s like being back at school but somewhere cool! The chairs could do with being slightly larger though, that’s the only criticism. They do good daily menu options. I think the portion sizes are good too.

I am a firm believer in making sure that both my partner and I are fed before we go shopping as both of us tend to get cranky if we aren’t fed. Joe’s Kitchen is often the first stop when we go to the Bromley shopping centre. The food is good and they always have a good selection of specials each day. Breakfast here is quite solid, I like the french toast with fruit, the burgers are very good and so is their selection of beers. This is definitely a place we come to fairly regularly when we are in the mall, do wish they opened slightly earlier in the mornings for first thing eating before the mall shops open.

One of the better Shopping Centre dining experiences. Joe’s Kitchen, the runty little sister of Frank & Benny and Garfunkel’s restaurants is a refreshingly modern, clean and creative twist on the standard. The layout and menu remind me somewhat of Bill’s restaurants. Big wooden tables and not too fussy. The Menu is transparent and has your staples: fish and chips, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and your all day breakfast. It’s a little fresher and more contemporary than it’s more famous counterparts. As with any restaurant in a shopping mall, it’s quite overpriced for what it is. My fish finger sandwich, although pleasant and filled my hungover hole was average bread, cheap fish fingers and a bit of iceberg. For £6 without any garnish at all, I would say that’s a tad steep. Still, what did surprise me were the chips. This may sound strange, but they really tasted like potato! Normally you get the standard, frozen chips with a real starchy texture, but these ‘skin on fat chips’ tasted fresh and lovely. Overall, it’s an amazing improvement to your average shopping break meal. It completely beats the competition in the area and was a very pleasant experience. PS. lovely coffee and the coke floats looked amazing.

Overpriced. The service is quite good, shame about the poor quality, high priced rubbish they serve as food.

Amazing child friendly restaurant within the Glades shopping centre. They have lovely books for the children to read and little toys for them to play with while waiting for their food. The food is freshb and reasonably priced. The Thai chicken was supurb and the cottage pie was devoured by my son was obviously very nice!

After being lured in by the promise of American style pancakes on a number of occasions, I have stopped going to this restaurant as the service almost always disappoints. Situated on the lower level of the Glades Shopping Centre, Joe’s Kitchen offers a variety of what I would mainly call American style diner food, ranging from the above mentioned pancakes and various breakfast foods to other main dishes such as salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches, etc. The food is generally well portioned and filling and is usually pretty good. However, after receiving poor, forgetful service on a number of occasions, even when the place wasn’t very busy, I can’t justify continue going here for lunch or dinner as I usually end up feeling annoyed about being forgotten about so much of the time. It’s a real shame as the menu and general décor show potential, but they really need to get their act together.
