So it’s a Wetherspoons and they come in a variety of qualities, as I’m sure we all know. The staff were really nice, nicer than I think I could be with the faint aroma of piss lingering in the air. There are a selection of regular lagers and all sorts behind the bar, but the obvious go to for me was the BrewDog(nice to see it on tap outside a BrewDog bar). Unfortunately for me the food was a bit of a let down; while the onion rings were surprisingly excellent, the burger I got was really overcooked. Not quite hockey puck. A hockey puck’s cousin perhaps. On the whole we went when we needed to stick near the station and hadn’t great expectations, the warm staff were the real redeeming feature.

It’s a Wetherspoon’s. It’s in Bromley. Need I say more? The second star is purely for the fact that a double whiskey cost me less than three quid. Can’t quibble with that.

Richmal Crompton I THINK it! was formally known by but I think it maybe called now LLoyds Bar now or maybe both used, still a Wetherspoon pub mind you, I only been in this pub less than a dozen times, it’s ok gets VERY packed on the weekends, prices again reasonable with it being Wetherspoons. Atmosphere was ok not too bad. if your that side of town it’s worth popping in for a pint pub is quite newly renovated and has restaurant section inside should you feel peckish. for food.
