Having never been a fan of high heels and stilettos my shoe shopping experience is probably quite different to most other womens’. I don’t know whether it is because I have giant feet(anywhere between size 7 and size 9 and I’m only 5 ft 4! I know) or because those giant feet are also flat but I would always much rather flat shoes or at a push platform shoes or wedges. You know those Spice Girl type shoes with the giant sole, well they were my best friend growing up and I can still find those in tReds. So that’s a good start. It is also the only place where I have found a pair of comfortable and smart heels and they only cost me about £15 and they fit me fine. The boot selection in here is amazing and they often have some decent sales — just head to the back of the store. When stuff is reduced, it really is reduced. Otherwise it’s a little on the pricey side for me, but I am a cheapskate.

Looking for winter boots, I went into tReds. I was worried about the prices because the window display was full of designer labels. I spotted a gorgeous pair of aborigine-style boots and couldn’t resist going in. To my surprise, the majority of the shoes were cheaper than the window display. The shop wasn’t too busy, which made shopping easy and comfortable. The staff were not too pushy and only came to help if you asked for it, which I always prefer when browsing.
