Oh how I enjoy the visits to The Stillage. This has to be one of the best pubs in Redfield. It is a no nonsense if you don’t like it f off type of establishment. Something I belive that we need more of!
A great selection of well priced ciders and beers and staff encourage you to try them all ! The ambience is nice with nice low ceilings that give you the impression that your taller than you are. They also have a pool table which is a very reasonable 70p a game.
There is a café next door which supplies some very nice food. I had the burger and it was delicious and homemade and i highly recommend a visit.

A proper pub through and through, good selection of beers and the all important currency of Bristol … Thatchers gold !! It is what it is a decent pub with regular live music and nowadays that’s becoming quite rare. I believe they do food but I haven’t eaten here so I can’t comment on that, best thing is to come and try it for yourself

Only been in this pub once! Ive always drove past and never thought of stopping in… it doesnt look like the type of pub you would go with my girl mates more of a lads boozer!
But i was surprisly impressed. My kind of pub! Great selection of drinks, the relaxed vibes, pool table, live music, and a night café which shares the same back garden so cheap grub!
Met lots of wicked people, and the staff were really sound! So will defo be back! :0)

If you do some research on the internet you shall find out what a Stillage is, which I haven’t done so don’t go expecting me to educate you in this review with what a Stillage is and what it’s function is. What I will tell you however is that this place is really worth a visit, with it’s friendly atmosphere and good prices, The Old Stillage is a great pub to drink in before heading in to town or to while away the afternoon on the weekend. The place offers all the usual Pub facilities such as a pool table, dart board and all the sport channels to keep you entertained until your heart’s content. The best thing is that you won’t be paying the extortinate prices that you have to cough up in town for a game of pool — don’t you just hate having to pay £1 for a game and then to be 7 balled by your friend?!! Annoying or what?! The Old Stillage is a great place — I recommend it to you all!

Very newly re-​opened this pub is just starting to get back on it’s feet again with new landlords at the helm I believe.
They have tried to install a friendly environment attracting people who would not normally come here, I think they are beginning to succeed, but as with any good pub, it’s time and reputation that helps it to grow, so hopefully the old stillage can continue on it’s good start and draw in more punters.
With cask ales, a dart board, pool table and live sports it has all the ingrediants to a great pub, and I will definatley come back.
