Yum! Philpotts is where I go when I want a tasty lunch treat. There is usually a queue outside the door here at lunchtimes, however the staff making sandwiches are very quick. There is a salad counter, hot food counter and sandwich counter. The array of fillings is certainly more exciting than your average sambo. I tend to be rather boring when I have found something outstanding so I almost always go for the Pastrami & Stilton with Chilli Mayo. super yummy.
I recommend buying your sandwich from here and then if you want drinks /​crisps, buy them from the convenience store just down the way, otherwise the price of your quite reasonable sandwich can put a furrow in your brow.
