Most deli’s I’ve been to in Bristol are lifestyle shops — a bit overpriced and more for aspirational shopping purchases than getting what you need. This isn’t the case at Manor Kitchen, which is a bit more down to earth and useful than other I have been to.
They’ve got some gorgeous hams and all of their cold meats are good. Cheese is the other thing to come here for. Plenty to choose from, with loads of different cheddars. On the sweet side of things there’s a selection of muffins and fruit cakes to tempt you some more. Basically it’s all to easy to come here intending to get a filling for you’re sandwich and end up not getting much change from a twenty. You have been warned!

Great deli which is tucked away just off Staple Hill’s main street — turn right when you hit HSBC down Soundwell Road and you will find it there.
They have a small amount of raw meat as a butcher would, but come here mainly for their big range of cheeses and their cold meats. Their ham choices will have you wavering until you cave and buy several! The ladies on the shop floor are jovial and know all the regulars. Listen to their gossip as you browse.
No onsite catering though — just a shop.
