I booked this removal company for a transatlantic move because of the good reviews they had. While most of the people I dealt with were very polite, the service left much to be desired. 1 They quoted me a price that was almost 2x as much as I was quoted by FedEx. I still opted to use their services since I didn’t have the time to pack up my items myself. 2. The employee who came to give me a quote assured me that the goods would be well-packed, but when the actual packing was done, the packer didn’t use any packing paper for my book cartons. As a result, all of the top layer of books were bent in one box. 3. It was stated in my written materials that the goods would arrive approximately 10 – 14 days after they were picked up. After two weeks had passed, I emailed, and it seemed that goods hadn’t yet been shipped. The goods were delivered 23 days after they were picked up. 4. I was sent a pallet, left on my curb. The company they used in the US refused to bring the goods into the house. So they left a huge box on a pallet outside, which contained 4 huge boxes inside. Had I shipped more stuff, this would have been a moving disaster. Imagine someone leaving all your household goods packed in one giant container OUTSIDEYOURHOUSE! Avoid GB liners unless you want to get ripped off!
