This shop is a little hit or miss, but I can’t help but go inside whenever I’m in this area of Bristol. It mainly deals in secondhand music gear from a few years back, so you’re going to find old fourtrack recorders, mixing desks, samplers, dictaphones, synthesisers, hi-fi equipment and guitar stompboxes. The stock they have depends entirely on what people have tried to sell there, of course, which is dwindling by the day because of the power of eBay. Nevertheless, they do occasionally have the odd bargain here and it’s worth checking in every now and then just in case they’ve valued something at far less than it’s worth, or simply to find things that you wouldn’t of found otherwise. They’re most renowned for their repairs, but I can’t comment on this as I’ve never used the service. This place, to me, is strictly about picking up a bargain. Check it out if you’re on Whiteladies(it’s just down the alleyway next to Sainsburys on Alma Vale Road).
