Well that was appalling. I’ve just had a meal delivered by curry hotline. ordered keema rice and was delivered pilau. ordered a chicken korma as I fancied something mild got a pot of overly sickly sauce with 5 small pieces of chicken in it. this chicken had never been near the sauce before it was poured into the container as it didn’t even vaguely taste of the sauce itself(possibly a blessing) I’ll never order from them again and would recommend others avoid them too.

No no no and no. I used this once in the first week of living in Bristol when I didn’t know any better and it was the worst curry I have ever had Ever. Thankfully Unilocal is now here to save future souls from making the same mistake. Please try Easton Taste or Bollywood Spice as my top two.

So wrong it’s almost right. I agree with the previous reviewer — never once have I ordered from here whilst sober(I have only ordered twice, I’ll have you know, just in case you think I have a problem!). I’ve never eaten a kebab sober either — that’ll tell you the level of desperation for fast food you need to press this number into the digits of your phone. The salad is like a limp green slug in a polythene bag, the curries flaccid and watery in tinfoil trays(never seems like much meat attached to any of it). The naan breads are halfway decent and you can’t seem to go wrong with poppadoms. You can even order beer(if you count Fosters as beer) and wine(if you count Lambrini as wine). All in all, avoid, unless feeling really, really lazy, you’ve drunk yourself silly and its 4 in the morning. Oh dear, not a great recommendation.

This is a handy number to have in your mobile — the Curry Hotline is a delivery only service which keeps going late into the night. However, as I’ve nearly always been drunk when procuring their services, I’ve no idea just how late they operate. The food is pretty tasty and reasonably priced(you even get a free bottle of Lambrini with orders over a tenner!), but they do come swimming in grease, and I once received a mango chutney covered in mould(!). Shouldn’t be your first choice, but provides a decent service when nothing other than a vindaloo will do.

They have really gone downhill since they first opened. The food arrives swimming in oil and always tasteless. Would rather get in the car and drive to a takeaway. Giving away free bottles of Lambrini may be a hit with the teens but even they are getting quite more discerning now. Disappointing
