Eeyeeuk. a chavvy night out if there ever was one. A bowling alley /​nightclub with games arcade and a fast food joint attached. Useful if you get hungry.
If you’re genuinely going there to bowl — go on a weeknight when it’s quiet and frequented by families. Fridays and Saturdays are full of screaming teenagers (take along your photographic ID if you want to be served alcohol). It also doubles up as a dancy/​cheesy nightclub
blasting out tunes to bowl to. Open to 2am would you believe.

Bowlplex is primarily a bowling alley, which is priced similarly to other bowling establishments.
However, bowlplex also has a games arcase section, a great food café and a reasonably priced bar.
On weekday evenings it tends to be quieter, with people/​families visiting for bowling games.
On friday and saturday evenings, the place also doubles up as a nightclub, with the DJ playing commerical music. It stays open until 2am and is a nice change from the clubs in town.
Be warned however that bowlplex does operate a strict door policy on friday and saturday evenings, and you will need to provide identification whatever your age.
