BS3 Bar is a bog standard pub which serves the usual array of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Boasting ultra modern furnishings, a distastefully huge projection screen for Sky Sports fans to ogle at, a beer garden and three function rooms, the pub has a lot to offer if you’re into any of the above. What’s more, if you like your pub grub, BS3 Bar serves a great selection of well priced food perfect for a belly full of beer. And if you’re partial to a bit of drunken exhibitionism now and then, this pub hosts karaōke nights most weekends. Be wary of Bar BS3 any time around a Bristol City match, though. Things can get pretty heated, to say the least…

Formerly The Rising Sun public house, the Bar BS3 on Ashton road takes its name from the local area postcode(they must have been up all night thinking that one up). To be fair to it though, it is trying hard to turn itself into a pleasant boozer. Unfortunately it’s still largely seen as a pub for Bristol City fans on the way to the ground, so any effort to smarten the place up is lost on most of the clientelle. They aren’t totally oblivious to their regulars however as the pub boasts 2 giant screens, 4 large plasma TV’s together with cinema quality surround sound all pumping live Sky Sports football round the clock.
