A more petit version of the large one in The Mall in broadmead, it still has exactley the same stock though as niether are ‘Argos extra’ stores. You get much more of a family feel by shopping in this store, they seem alot more friendly in here and you don’t feel awkward returning anything or asking about items that they don’t currently have in stock. By being smaller it does mean that on a busy saturday you can find yourself waiting for quite a long time to get a free catalogue, and then having to wait even longer to pick up your order from the counter.

This branch of Argos is smaller than your average store but still boasts an extensive range of pretty much all the household/material items known to man. Although you could probably acquire most of the goods you are looking for from the multitude of charity shops that line East Street, Argos serves as a slightly more expensive and much more clinical alternative to the former outlets. Staff seem friendly, if a little bored, and service tends to be efficient.
