Ros Thai Restaurant

I always use to be mixed about Thai food, it wasn’t quite Chinese and it wasn’t quite Curry (Indian), how foolish I feel now.
Ros Thai now embodies everything I love about Thai food, they offer food that is bursting in fresh flavour and wonderful subtleties. The family element to the ownership meant that I could have faith in the origin and authenticity of my food, something that was vindicated after eating.
I got a delicious Pad Thai and fish cakes, costing just over £10, which is neither cheap nor expensive. For the quality though, I certainly felt I had got value for money.

A high-​class Thai restaurant located in beautiful Rottingdean. First of all, what struck me most was the friendliness of the staff. They were all just beaming. This could have been due to the wonderful morning earlier, making them so bright and cheery. But once I entered, it was immediately noticeable. It’s a family run restaurant as well, so that definitely adds to the quality of it all.
This is my new standard when it comes to Thai cuisine. The staff members repeated to me that this was all authentic Thai food, with the exact same ingredients used in Thailand. This was reflected in the taste. The dishes were simple, but captivating to the eye and pleasing to the taste buds. If you are ever in the area (or even if you’re not in the area), I recommend visiting this place at least once, even if you only have a smidgen of interest in Thai cuisine.
