Offers a really varied menu but every thing that came was over fried and kind of greasy.

Best take away I’ve had in Brighton. They’re food is quick. You can go in and order for take away for ring on the phone. If you’re a student you get a discount on orders for pick up. Over £10 is free prawn crackers. Not too shabby. I usually just pick something random on their menu to try and I’ve yet to be disappointed.

I hadn’t been to a take away ever. Unless you count a few subways at school. Pretty immense statement I know, but when I left home, I enjoyed cooking so much I did that at home, and if I ever bought food out, I’d want the sociable experience of a restaurant over the scoff-fest that getting take away seems to provoke. And I always thought it was expensive and unhealthy… Well, the Oriental Takeaway was the first place that tempted me away from my then, life long boycot of spending my money on take out. Any regrets? Not one. Well actually, there is one. Why didn’t I find this place sooner?! There’s a fantastic range of food on offer, and its cooked to a higher quality than some restaurants even bother to do. There’s a generous portion of meat in every dish, so you’re not simply paying for noodles with a dash of beef as I felt was the case with some places. The staff were very very friendly, and even gave us a free bag of prawn crackers, despite us only waiting a handful of minutes for our order. The food comes in those plastic boxes too, which means free Tupperware(for the win!). And of course, most importantly, it was delicious. My only, only complaint is that I still find take away a little expensive…(hence 4*) I won’t be coming here for a while for that reason, but the next time I feel the need to get some food in without cooking anything, I’ll be hitting the Oriental Takeaways website and ordering some top quality grub pronto!
